The Group comprises three divisions. Tamarack Outdoors
sells outdoor equipment from a small shop; Tamarack Tree Management
and Training offers a range of courses related to arboriculture,
woodland management and forestry; Tamarack Bushcraft teaches a wide
range of outdoor survival skills and aims to give people of all
ages and genders a deeper understanding of the natural world and
a thorough insight into crafts and skills that are still alive in
the working countryside today.
 Tamarack
Outdoors offers wide range of equipment and clothing for hiking,
biking and bushcraft. This includes items such as clothing, boots,
rucksacks, tents, sleeping bags, climbing gear, cycling accessories
and survival equipment (e.g. firelighting kits, knives, axes, rope
etc.)
Tamarack tree management and training offers a
full range of nationally recognised training courses to meet the
needs of those working or seeking to work within the forestry or
arboricultural industry. It aims to provide an innovative perspective
and professional service to all clients. With more than 17 years
of instructional techniques and 10 years in the arboricultural industry,
the company sets its sights high for all students who attend its
courses. To complement course delivery, Tamarack has excellent training
facilities including a workshop, classroom, brew cabin, TV and video
facility and a range of training sites. Tamarack also provides a
full, comprehensive arboricultural service, for both the private
and business sectors.
 Tamarack
Bushcraft offers a range of courses designed to explore many skills
that are on the brink of extinction. Fire by friction, hunting and
preparing game, observing wildlife - to name but a few. Tamarack
not only delivers bushcraft courses, but also many crafts and skills
courses such as dry stonewalling, hedge laying and woodland management.
