The Forest of Bowland is situated in the north
west of England and extends over an area of more than 800 square
kilometres. An ideal destination for all those who enjoy the countryside

habitats and is home to an abundance of widlife.
Recognised as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the region
incorporates many scenic areas including large expanses of moorland,
picturesque villages and the woodland-rich valleys of the rivers
Ribble, Lune, Wyre and Hodder.
Despite its peaceful and unspoilt location, the
Forest of Bowland is easily accessible from the M6 motorway and
A59, and is within easy striking distance of the historic city of
