Bowland Country Cottages is an independent, locally
based, self catering holiday cottage booking agency. It offers a
selection of high quality, individually inspected, holiday cottages
in the Forest of Bowland and surrounding rural Lancashire countryside.
 Many
of the properties are four and five star rated by Visit Britain,
as well as being personally inspected by Bowland Country Cottages.
Each cottage offers its own individual charm and character. The
range of properties on offer includes a delightful 500 year old
Grade II listed cottage, and a 300 year old country mill that has
been sympathetically restored into ten cottage style individual
properties.
Some of the cottages are suitable for guests with
mobility difficulties, offering wheelchair access and ground floor
bedroom with shower room facilities. Many owners will accept pets
to stay in the properties.
Julia Wilkinson, the company owner, has a working
background and experience of working in the tourism sector. As part
of the service provided, Bowland Country Cottages can help to plan
your stay in the area by providing information about the various
Bowland Experience members, local attractions and events to visit
during your holiday.
